Crop diversification, agroecology and the CAP: synergies and opportunities
The event contributed to the ongoing discussion on the Italian CAP implementation. The Italian National Strategic Plan should be finalised and sent to the European Commission by the end of the year. It will provide a timely and relevant framework for a discussion on agroecological approaches and, more specifically, on crop rotation aspects, which could benefit from the financial resources from one of the Eco-schemes that could be adopted in Italy.
CREA (Consiglio per la Ricerca in Agricoltura e l'Analisi dell'Economia Agraria) and FIRAB (Fondazione Italiana per la Ricerca in Agricoltura Biologica e Biodinamica), the Italian partners of DiverIMPACTS, invite you to a discussion on the perspectives of agroecological approaches in practices, policies and research & innovation paths.
